Yardulpu is the name of the country that belongs to Jupurrula/Jakamarra moiety who are 'kirda' (owner) for this dreaming.

This painting shows a family of 'yarranji' (quick travelling, venomous green snakes) who are kirda, being shepherded north by the 'kurdungurlu' (guardians) for the country.

The kurdungurlu - Japangardi and Jungarrayi are using fire to frighten the yarranji, and they carry 'warnparnpirri (fire sticks).
